Components Overview

Comtech AeroAstro designs and fabricates many spacecraft subsystems and components in house, both for our own spacecraft and for those developed by other spacecraft providers and integrators. We can offer a variety of off-the-shelf components, or we can custom design a component or subsystem to meet your specific mission requirements. Our principle products include miniature star trackers, sun sensors, and transceivers. Many of our component technologies have been developed through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, leveraging government funding to transition new technologies to commercial customers.

Comtech AeroAstro's designs often incorporate innovative use of commercial-off-the-shelf parts, thereby driving cost, mass and volume much lower than is possible with MIL-SPEC parts. Comtech AeroAstro also offers MIL-SPEC components and subsystems for customers requiring this level of reliability and qualification.
