Senior Spacecraft Power Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Spacecraft Power Systems Engineer.
Standard Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for the development/analysis of the spacecraft power system from initial concept through final integration and test. Candidate will develop detailed power system components procurement specifications, and oversee procurement activities. Candidate will also perform electrical design tasks relating to integrating power system components into spacecraft.
Senior Spacecraft Power Systems Engineer Requirements:
- US citizenship required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Government security clearance.
- Excellent knowledge of spacecraft power system design.
- Ability to size and design, specify, procure, test spacecraft power system hardware including solar arrays, batteries, power electronics, and other space power subsystem elements.
- Ability to perform system level energy balance analyses, electrical circuit design and analyses.
- Understanding of the space environment and design impacts on power systems.
- Experience with EVM is a plus.
- Excellent written and presentation communication skills required.
- MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering plus 8 years hands-on experience working with space hardware.
