Software Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer.
Specific Job Description: The Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design and testing of space systems software in all program phases, from initial design through coding, testing and integration. Develops designs that require innovation and ingenuity. Work performed with minimal supervision; has some latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Government security clearance.
- Knowledge of embedded software environments with direct experience with one of the following: driver-level software, microcontrollers and FPGAs.
- Fluency in C and C++, as applied to embedded systems.
- Familiarity and development experience with real-time operating systems.
- BS/MS in Software Engineering or related field with 1-5 years experience.
- Experience with MATLAB programming and MATLAB to C translation, Power PC, RAD 750 processor, MIL-STD-1553B, cross platform GNU to all chains, RTOS including VxWorks desired.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art space processors, memory and data bus structures desired.
- Familiarity with DoD and NASA software development and test standards a plus.
- Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems a plus.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
