We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager within our Civil Programs Group.
Standard Job Description: The Senior Program Manager, Civil Programs Group, will be an organized leader with a proven record executing rapid and responsive program efforts for civilian domestic and international government customers. The candidate will be responsible for execution of cost, schedule, and technical responsibilities and will be required to execute PM duties with a balanced managed-risk approach.
Specific Job Description: (if applicable) The Senior Program Manager, Civil Programs Group, will have overall responsibility for the operational efficiency of all workflows to meet the program requirement goals to the satisfaction of the customer and internal executive management.
Senior Program Manager Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Government security clearance.
- Requires a MS or BS from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Ten years experience in technical management field including development of program plans, budgets, schedules, etc.
- Experience in the space systems industry in spacecraft design, development and delivery is preferred.
- Familiarity/experience with agencies such as NASA and NOAA.
- Knowledge of Government Contracting and FAR/DFAR knowledge is preferred.
- Proposal development skills, knowledge of EVMS and negotiation skills are helpful.
- Outstanding writing, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office and Project and internet tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The hiring for this position is contingent upon the successful awarding on new contracts.
