AeroAstro places a heavy emphasis on research and development in order to offer the most innovative, cutting-edge spacecraft systems and products to our customers. AeroAstro designs and fabricates many spacecraft subsystems and components in house, for both our own spacecraft and those integrated by other prime contractors. We offer a variety of off-the-shelf components, or we can custom-design a component or subsystem to meet your specific mission requirements.

AeroAstro has developed many of its component technologies through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, leveraging government funding to transition new technologies to commercial customers.

AeroAstro's designs often incorporate innovative use of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) parts, driving cost, mass and volume much lower than is possible with MIL-SPEC parts. AeroAstro also offers MIL-SPEC components and subsystems for customers requiring this level of reliability and qualification.
